
Edith Robinson is a multidisciplinary artist, who leads her practice with the photographic. Currently studying her Master's Degree at Kingston School of Art in photography, Edith is focusing her studies on how symbols and icons can change meaning when presented through various photographic contexts. After completing an undergraduate degree at King's College London in Philosophy and Religion - Edith's work aims to explore how the religious concepts of the mundane, the sacred, and the profane can appear though what she terms to be "everyday iconography." She aims to examine how objects and imagery take on a new significance depending on their presentation and cultural context. Edith works as a freelance photographer based in London and West Wales: With an emphasis on working with traditional analogue photographic, printing, and also craft processes.
